Services for the Next Generation Data Centers

Business organizations today rely on the ability of their data centers to support the critical business functions though highly available systems. Data centers, in turn, have become highly dependent on the capabilities of 3rd party service organizations to support the critical components within the data center. Exposure to service-related failures is on the rise as technologies become more complex and as NCPI vendors roll out unique components that lack standardization in design. The lack of standardization minimizes learning and leads to a greater level of customization in the service support requirements. This course discusses the traditional models of data center service, and new trends for next generation data center services.
